Question: How do I clear my alarm keypad?

Answer: Enter your 4-digit code and “off” (#1 button) then repeat.

 

Question: How do I see the status of my alarm system?

Press asterisk on your keypad. It will show any zones that are in fault.

 

Question: How do I bypass a zone?

Code 6 for bypass and enter 2 or 3-digit zone number

 

Question: How do I test my alarm system?

Answer: Follow the steps below.

  1. Put system on test by calling your central station.
    1. Emergency 24: 800-877-3624 or
    2. HSMC: 800-933-4762
  2. Arm your alarm (Code + 2)
  3. Open and close a door.
  4. Walk in front of motion detectors/open doors/open windows.
  5. Make sure all alerts display.
  6. Disarm (Code + 1)
  7. Call back to central station and ask for zones they received from your test. If any zones seem to be missing, re-test.
  8. Once you are satisfied, call central station and request to be placed online again.

 

Question: No cameras are working. What do I do?

Answer: Follow the steps below.

  1. Check to see if the system is powered on.
  2. Try plugging in to a different power source.
  3. Call service.
