Are you a service tech in commercial integrated security systems with at least four years of experience? We have an exciting new position, available due to continued growth of a local company that has been in business for more than 20 years.

The Field Service Technician is able to service and trouble shoot access control, analog and IP based camera systems, intercom systems and alarm systems. The service tech must be able to read building and electrical plans as part of the trouble shooting process. He/she should also build relationships with customers to ensure we are meeting their needs. A focus on professionalism and communication is key to this role. We provide in-house, manufacturer, field and industry training. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience, Genetec experience is a huge plus. Overtime is available. Pay listed is a starting range and commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an environment which achieves ultimate customer service/satisfaction.
  • Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repairing and programming access control systems, CCTV, digital recorders, and intercom systems.
  • Mentor and coach junior technicians on the proper techniques, customer service and overall performance and development.
  • Champion, educate and implement ESS procedures.
  • Work and collaborate directly with the service and install teams.
  • Participate in on-call service rotation.
  • Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that the company follows all regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Ensure all actions of the company are accomplished in an ethical and prudent manner.
  • Keep scheduling and operations always informed of work status.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in electronic security industry, Genetec experience is a huge plus!

The Installation Technician installs new equipment, repairs or replaces inoperative equipment and tests for operations. This individual must be able to read building electrical & sprinkler plans as required. A minimum of 2 years installation experience in the electronic security industry is required. The Outside Sales Representative sells and provides customer service for commercial integrated security systems including:access control, camera, intercom and alarm systems. This position manages current customer accounts, develops provided leads and generates, qualifies and develops new accounts through strong relationship building. The sales team works very closely with the service, install and administrative teams to provide superior customer service. Professionalism, integrity and communication are key to this role.

  • Add/update records regarding communication with customers into the system.

  • Provide administrative support for the operations team.

Candidate Specifications:

  • 2-4 years of customer service experience. Experience in a sales/service based company a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office. Primarily Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and Windows based programs.
  • Experience in QuickBooks is helpful.
